NADESON PARK OFFERS A CLASSY TRIO AT NATIONAL SALE

Nadeson Park Stud will be triply represented at this years Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.

The Hermanus based farm will be offering yearlings by Gimmethegreenlight, Potala Palace and resident sire Time Thief, with all three of their yearlings hailing from outstanding female lines.

Country Clock (Lot 96), is a son of Zeditave Stakes winner Time Thief, whose notable progeny include the outstanding, dual G1 winning sprinter, In Her Time, and this seasons high-class three-year-old Macthief. This colt is out of East Cape Fillies Nursery winner Country Girl, herself a granddaughter of the great A.P. Indy, and already the dam of high-class G2 filly Roll In The Hay. Further back, this is the family of G1 winners Alpha Omega, Fair Maiden and Final Claim, as well as recent graded stakes winners Cousin Liz and Gimme One Night.

Red hot sire Gimmethegreenlight, whose progeny Equus Champion Got The Greenlight and Australian stakes winner Yulong Prince, is the sire of the regally bred filly Splash Of Green (Lot 283), a half-sister to two winners notably KZN Guineas Trial/Thukela Handicap winner Easy Lover.  Splash Of Green herself is out of G3 Southern Cross Stakes runner up Miss Gold Digger, a daughter of top-class broodmare sire Rich Mans Gold and G3 Diana Stakes winner Slinky Malinky.

Purple Flame (Lot 345) is a son of G1 Premier’s Champion Stakes winner Potala Palace, whose progeny include the very exciting three-year-old Katak among others.

The well related Purple Flame, himself a half-brother to two winners, is out of G3 Champagne Stakes winner Purple Orchid, who won six times, and scored in both Ireland and South Africa. Purple Orchid, a granddaughter of outstanding sire Kris S,  hails from the same family as former successful South African sire Russian Fox, as well as G1 Del Mar Futurity winner Music Merci.
