STONE HILL STUD OFFER QUALITY DRAFT AT NATIONAL 2YO SALE

Stone Hill Stud will be offering a very high-quality, nine strong draft at this year’s Emperors Palace National 2YO Sale, due to take place at the TBA complex on August 15th and 16th.
Stone Hill’s classy National 2YO Sale draft is made up of lots by the likes of Act Of War, Captain Of All, Coup De Grace, Jay Peg, Pathfork, Vercingetorix, and Willow Magic, to name a few!
Tapit’s multiple graded stakes winning son Coup De Grace is the sire of Mount Grace (Lot 31), a colt who hails from the same family as none other than G1 Prix Morny winner, and red-hot Coolmore sire No Nay Never, while All Auspicious (Lot 51) is a filly by Champion Sprinter and First Crop Sire Captain Of All out of a mare who is a half-sister to a stakes winner sired by Al Mufti (grandsire of Captain Of All).

Dubawi’s G1 SA Nursery winner Willow Magic is represented here by a colt (Lot 100) whose dam is a winning Western Winter half-sister to G2 Colorado King Stakes winner Senor Versace, while Irish champion Pathfork, whose progeny include G1 winner Mighty High, is the sire of a half-brother (Lot 117) to the very useful Cat Daddy and this colt is from the famous E family.

Equus Champion, and Jebel Hatta winner, Vercingetorix made a superb start with his first 2yos last season and the son of Silvano is represented here by a colt (Lot 124) out of G3 Acacia Handicap runner up Fortitude, while Divine Cascade (Lot 144) is a filly by Equus Champion, and proven sire Jay Peg, and she is out of a three time winning daughter of Kahal.

Cape Guineas winner Act Of War is another popular young sire represented in the Stone Hill draft –with that son of Dynasty the sire of a colt (Lot 185) from the family of G1 winners Al Nitak, Top Seller and The Sheik.

Former G1 winner, and G1 sire, Byword, has a colt (Lot 284) on offer from the same family as champion Horse Chestnut (the broodmare sire of Byword’s G1 winner Camphoratus), while Breeders’ Cup runner Noble Tune has a filly (Lot 380) on sale who is from the immediate family of recent Listed East Cape Paddock Stakes winner Maverick Girl –among others!
