Trainer Alec Laird and Azreka Stud will offer two lots apiece at the 2018 Emperors Palace Ready To Run Sale, which is due to take place at the TBA complex on November 4th.

The Laird pair is headed by a colt (Lot 42) by the increasingly successful Oasis Dream stallion Querari, whose star runners include G1 Thekwini Stakes heroine Querari Falcon, Gauteng Guineas hero Monks Hood and recent Sophomore Sprint winner Pleasedtomeetyou. The colt on offer, as yet unnamed, is out of a mare by legendary sire and broodmare sire Zabeel, with the dam of the colt a three-parts sister to Oaks winner Grand Echezeaux (dam of top sire Darci Brahma).

Second of the Alec Laird draft is the Judpot colt Pinch Pot (Lot 110). This chestnut, bred on the same cross as the Laird trained Judpot G1 winner Forest Indigo, is out of a winning sister to multiple G1 winner Forest Path and to Gold Vase hero Reef Road.
Arzeka Stud, an outfit based in the Golden Valley, also offer two well bred lots at the Ready To Run Sale.  Champion sprinter Captain Of All is responsible for All The Stars (Lot 31), a filly whose dam is a winning daughter of multiple champion sire and broodmare sire Southern Halo and the South African champion racemare Faralmond.

Jam Cat (Lot 45) is a colt by Cartier Champion and world-class sire Duke Of Marmalade, whose first local crop includes Cape champion Temple Grafin and the likes of Santa Clara and Duke Of Spin. This colt, whose winning dam is by champion sire Jallad, is from the same family as high class performers Hurricane Queen and Able Prince, as well as the Australian based sire Va Pensiero.
